Hello, readers! I apologise that this update is a day late, I should have posted it yesterday, but life distracted me. This update will be brief, though not because I haven’t been working hard.
The book I mentioned in December, the novel about Ink, Scythe and the Seer family’s past, is now written and only needs editing. For the moment its working title remains «Poison». I am considering calling it «By Curse or Poison», but I will decide once I have it back in my hands. For now, I’ve stepped away from that story because I am…
… revising «Revolution Reign: King». The second part of the duology will be released before «Poison», but it still needs work. Although everything was already written, it is such a long and complex book, with so many interlocking characters, that a rewrite was necessary. Once that is finished will come the editing, and then the English translation, so that the book can be released in both languages at the same time as I like to do.
At the end of RR2 there will be the first chapter of «Poison», so that you can have a taste of it while I finish editing, and at the end of «Poison» there will be the first chapter of RR1, in case you prefer to read them in that order. As always, my books complement one another, but it isn’t necessary to read one in order to enjoy the rest (except for RR1 and RR2, of course).
I don’t yet have a project chosen for after I finish these two books, but there are ideas circling me: hidden mages, gods between the stars… Sometimes characters from the past cry out for attention from the depths of my wardrobe and won’t let me sleep. I will keep you informed of my ideas and nightmares.
