Greetings, readers! What fascinating passion (or mildly entertaining hobby) have you immersed yourselves in over the past two months? I took refuge in reading, drowning in hundreds of pages about the history and art of Firenze.
Though I’ve done so with love and appreciation for these topics, it has mostly been for research. Some historical figures appear in my upcoming novel—that gay romance set in Firenze—and I want to reflect their voices properly so they feel real, as well as represent the city as faithfully as possible.
There will be a list of all the sources I’ve consulted in my novel, something unheard of in my life until now, as I’ve always written fantasy and pulled information from the deep well of my soul alone. Of course, I’ll share it here as well; the investigative and creative work of those authors deserves to be honoured.
The publication date for my novel is still uncertain, even for me. I work on it every day, but this story refuses to be conquered without a slow and lengthy courtship. It will definitely be published this year—hopefully around mid-year—but it’s still too soon to promise specific dates.
Besides that, The Perfect Word in print is ready, with its new cover that matches The Houses of Death. Link to get it here! I’m sorry it took so long, the first print trial didn’t meet my standards and I decided to repeat it after I fixed it, to guarantee its quality.
I hope that in two months, I’ll have something more exciting to share about my new book. And if not, perhaps I’ll release a chapter so you won’t miss me too much and can start getting attached to this intense pair of lovers.

Saludos, lectores, ¿en qué interesante pasión (o hobby medianamente entretenido) se han refugiado los últimos dos meses? Yo lo hice en la lectura, ahogándome entre cientos de páginas sobre la historia y el arte de Firenze.
Aunque ha sido con gusto y amor a esos temas, es más que nada investigación. Algunos personajes históricos aparecen en mi próxima novela, aquel romance gay en Firenze, y quiero tener bien definidas sus voces para que se sientan fieles a la realidad, además de representar la ciudad con tanta fidelidad como me sea posible.
Habrá una lista de todo el material consultado en mi novela, algo inaudito en mi vida hasta ahora escribiendo fantasía y sacando información del pozo al fondo de mi alma nada más. Por supuesto la compartiré aquí también; el trabajo investigativo y creativo de esos autores debe ser honrado.
La fecha de publicación de mi novela es todavía incierta hasta para mí. Trabajo cada día, pero esta historia se resiste a ser conquistada sin un lento y largo coqueteo. Será publicada este año, sin duda, con suerte a mediados, pero es pronto todavía para prometer fechas específicas.

Lamento que tomara tanto tiempo, la primera impresión de prueba no era de la calidad que quería, por lo que decidí repetirla tras hacer los arreglos necesarios.
Espero en dos meses tener algo más emocionante que compartir sobre mi nuevo libro y, si todavía no, tal vez libere algún capítulo para que no me extrañen y vayan tomándole gusto a este intenso par de enamorados.
