Surprise! Even for me, actually. «The Perfect Word» is now called «The Paths of the Crows», which contains a pun for those who have read my other books and know Disantea’s story.
¡Sorpresa! Hasta para mí, de hecho. «La palabra perfecta» ahora se llama «Los caminos de los cuervos», lo cual contiene un pun para quienes han leído otros de mis libros y conocen la historia de Disantea.
I didn’t know I was going to do this. I only knew that the name of this book (and another one, there’ll be news about that soon) was bothering me. It was the first book I published and, as a result, I chose its title based on what it meant to me, rather than on how it would look through the eyes of a reader.
No sabía que haría esto, sólo sabía que el nombre de este libro (y otro más, habrá noticias pronto) me molestaba. Fue el primero que publiqué y, en consecuencia, elegí su título pensando en lo que significaba para mí, no en cómo se vería a ojos del lector.
Now I have more experience writing and publishing, and I feel that my books are something I give to the world. And, like any gift, they should have wrapping paper that the person receiving it likes, and that perhaps builds a little anticipation for what’s inside, not something that only speaks to me.
Ahora tengo más experiencia escribiendo y publicando y siento que mis libros son algo que entrego al mundo. Y, como todo regalo, debe tener un papel envolviéndolo que guste a quien lo recibe y que tal vez aumente un poco la expectativa de su contenido, no algo que sólo me hable a mí.

I did the design myself, and I decided to record the name change so I could share this part of the experience with you. This is something I’m planning to keep doing; it was more fun than I expected.
El diseño está hecho por mí y decidí grabarme mientras hacía el cambio de nombre para poder compartir esta parte de la experiencia. Esto es algo que planeo seguir haciendo; fue más divertido de lo que imaginé.
If you already have this book on your Kindle, you just need to delete the download (NOT THE BOOK PERMANENTLY) and download it again so that it updates. If you don’t have it and would like to change that, you can get it in English on Amazon and now also on Kobo (the cover says the old name because Kobo takes FOREVER to update a file, but I already sent it for approval). If you’d like a physical copy with the old name for posterity, it’s still available on Amazon (it will stop being available in the next few days to make way for the new edition, so hurry!).
